A delcious pancake mix that I have added to jar to give away for Christmas. This isn't my recipe however apple and cinnamon go so well together this recipe is a delight.

I made up a big batch and then split it between the jars I had at home however you could add this to one big jar for someone you know that just loves pancakes.

This recipe I originally found on The Country Chic Cottage so all credit goes to them for these delicious pancakes.

Ingredient
3
cup
Flour
4
tsp
Cinnamon
3
tsp
Baking powder
2 1/4
tbsp
Sugar
1
tsp
Salt
3/4
cup
Dried apple, diced

Method

1.

To create the jars: Add all ingredients apart from the apple to a bowl and mix well to combine. Place into jars, my jars are approximately 500ml. Top with diced apple before closing.

2.

To make pancakes: Add the following to a medium bowl and mix together:

¾ cup milk

1 egg

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Then add contents of jar (up to 1 1/2 cups) and stir until just combined, but still lumpy.

Add more milk if the mixture isn’t runny enough to pour.

3.

Heat non-stick frypan with a little butter in it and pour mixture ¼ cup at a time to the pan. Flip when bubbles appear on the surface. Cook until both sides have browned.

4.

Serve with maple syrup, or top with butter. Enjoy!
